Jane is an experienced charted town planner with a wealth of planning experience covering development site appraisals, housing land supply analysis, major planning inquiries and hearings, local plan preparation, development control and conservation area appraisals. She was elected to membership of the RTPI in 1986 and has an Honours Degree in Town & Country Planning from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne University.

Jane joined Bell Cornwell in April 2008 having previously worked for County, City and District local planning authorities. Her client base includes the home-building industry, property developers, major land owners, local authorities and private individuals. Projects range from initial planning appraisals, major site promotion through Local Development Frameworks, planning briefs, planning appeals and community planning. Geographically projects range from Devon to Leicestershire and include London and the South East.

Jane has a Diploma in Management (with Distinction) from Reading University and recently worked in a corporate capacity as Head of Service for a District Council to expand her experience in Community Planning, Local Area Agreements and the wider performance framework.
