Michael de CourcyPartnerBSc(Hons) BTP MRTPI Michael joined Bell Cornwell in 1999 after 13 years working for a number of Local Planning Authorities in the south of England, including Horsham, Chichester and East Hampshire District Councils and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. He was made a Partner in the practice in September 2006. His work encompasses a broad range of planning work in both urban and rural environments, spread throughout the south and southwest of England and London. His work is focussed mainly on development control matters and the promotion of land through the new LDF regime. He has significant experience in managing projects, negotiations with local planning authorities and appearing as an expert witness at appeal hearings and inquiries, including representing clients at one of the first Core Strategy inquiries. He is a chartered Town Planner and was elected to
membership of the RTPI in 1991 having completed Batchelor of
Town Planning degree following a first degree in Geography
and Landscape Studies. |
