Nicolette joined Bell Cornwell in 2001 after 12 years with Hart District Council as Principal Planning Solicitor and three years with City firm Masons. Nicolette has a broad experience of planning work both in the private and public sector with including drafting S106 Agreements and Obligations, Lawful Development Certificates, Judicial Review, Listed Buildings and enforcement as well as giving general planning advice on all aspect of policy and development control matters.

Nicolette has a particular expertise in Habitat Regulations work, particularly in relation to the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Areas, which she has been involved with and has worked closely with Natural England on since 1994. She is a Trustee of the Hampshire Wildlife Trust, which brings an added expertise to her Habitat Regulation work.
