Simon AveryPartnerJoint BA(Hons) B.Phil Dip.Urban Design MRTPI Simon became a Partner of Bell Cornwell in 1989, having spent three years with a chartered architects and town planning consultancy, setting up their London-based office. Prior to that, Simon spent 10 years with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, preparing local plans and other policy documents, as well as a full range of development control work. He has also worked for the London Docklands, Tyne and Wear and Sheffield’s Lower Don Valley Development Corporations. Simon specialises in conservation areas and listed buildings projects of all sizes, design matters generally, masterplanning, affordable housing and sunlight/daylight issues. His experience includes Structure Plan and Local Plan inquiries, appeal hearings, public inquiries and lands tribunal expert witness. He has worked throughout the U.K. and the States of Jersey, acting for landowners, developers, central and local government authorities, private individuals and community groups. He has been a Member of the RTPI since 1979. He has
degrees in Geography & Sociology and Town & Country Planning
and a Diploma in Urban Design. |
