Bell Cornwell was instructed to assist in obtaining planning
permission for the replacement of a derelict building on a small
plot within a residential area of terraced housing with a single
dwelling.
In order to achieve this it was necessary to satisfy the
Council’s internal and external space standards, provide
satisfactory outlook from the new building and ensure the
relationship with neighbouring properties was acceptable.
Bell Cornwell worked with the architect and the Council’s
planning officer through various iterations of the plans to
arrive at a scheme that achieved the right balance between
all of the influencing factors. Planning permission was
granted by the Council. |
