Buckinghamshire Council are widening their search for land suitable for development and have issued a further call for sites – this time for brown and greenfield sites. The announcement comes as part of the Council’s preparation for their new Local Plan, which will allocate sites to meet the development needs of the county up to 2040.
They have previously issued a call for brownfield sites and whilst they maintain their stance of ‘Brown before Green’, the Council would like to better understand the full scope of available land for future provision.
The Buckinghamshire Unitary Council is at the early stages of reforming how it delivers development across the former boroughs of Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe. This is a key opportunity to present your site to be considered for allocation within the Local Plan and set the groundwork for possible future development.
