Runnymede – Calling All Sites With Development Potential

27th October 2020

Runnymede Borough Council has issued a ‘call for sites’ as part of the ongoing Local Plan process.  Submissions are invited for all land uses including housing, employment, retail, leisure, health, Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) and mixed-use schemes.  Within the housing category, the Council would like to know whether the site is being suggested for general housing (including market and/or affordable homes), self-/custom-build schemes, Gypsy and Traveller accommodation, student accommodation, accommodation for older people, or a mix of housing types.

The information received will be used to update the Council’s Strategic Land Availability Assessment (SLAA) and Brownfield Register. These documents will then be used to select sites for inclusion in the next Local Plan.

Bell Cornwell planners have excellent knowledge of the Borough of Runnymede and we would be delighted to advise you further on how best to promote your site/s. This is a great opportunity to get your plot in front of the Council at an early stage, ready for inclusion in the next Local Plan for the Borough.
