Bell Cornwell has successfully secured permission for the demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment comprising of 70 dwellings and 512 sq.m. building for use class D1 purposes (Non-Residential Institution).
The site was historically in use as playing fields and meeting rooms. The former occupiers had relocated elsewhere and the site was vacant. The Council were keen to secure a replacement D1 facility to serve the local community to offset the loss of the existing use.
The client wished to achieve a development with a large number of executive homes suitable for the local market. All of these aspirations were brought together in the final scheme.
