Heather Faulkner is a Principal Planner and joined our South West team in 2022. Heather takes a proactive and pragmatic approach to all projects she works on, working hard to ensure that approvals are achieved as quickly as possible and with minimal pre-commencement conditions.
Expertise
Heather has a variety of planning experience with her projects including major residential developments; large-scale commercial redevelopments and change of use proposals; education schemes and agricultural developments. She provides the full range of planning services and has expertise in compiling prior approvals and Lawful Development Certificates on behalf of her clients.
Experience
Heather has been working in the private sector since 2016, gaining detailed experience in both rural and urban planning. She joins Bell Cornwell from another consultancy based near Bristol. Prior to consultancy, Heather spent ten years working in the public sector with both Bristol City Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council.
Education
Heather graduated with a degree in Geography from Bristol University and went on to study her Masters in Planning, Practice and Research with Cardiff University. She has been a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2011.
