Since 2007, Nick has worked his way up through Bell Cornwell to become a Partner in 2019. His role as a Partner includes responsibility for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth and development of the company. Nick is a Line Manager and mentor to a number of Planners to ensure the highest quality of advice and work on behalf of our clients.
Nick’s work extends across the South East and South of England, including London, with a particular emphasis on facilitating development. Regular clients include housebuilders, commercial landowners, waste management and energy providers, community uses and educational facilities. He also has extensive expertise in issues associated with Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas, Site Promotions, Permitted Development Rights, Planning Appraisals and Certificates of Lawfulness.
Nick graduated with a degree in City and Regional Planning and a Diploma in Town Planning from Cardiff University.
Nick then went on to gain valuable Local Authority experience as both a Conservation Officer and a Planning Officer at Blaby and Rushmoor and Hart Councils before joining Bell Cornwell. Nick is a member of the RTPI.
